Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking a Site Operations Mechancial Technician to support our team at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado.
Under general supervision, perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on eyewash/shower combination units on all NREL campuses in Colorado, including the main South Table Mountain Campus, the Flatirons Campus (Wind Site) and the NREL Golden Warehouse located approximately 6 miles from the main campus.
Major Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on eyewash/shower/combination units.
• Assist with hosting Subcontractors and inspect quality of work and ensure safety regulations are followed.
• Maintain technical repair notes based on service solutions and share these with team members.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Maintain service reports, inspection reports, and other documentation.
• Maintain service tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose difficult, infrequent problems with eyewash/shower/combination units.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to problem solve.
• Work as a self-motivated individual with minimal supervision.
• Display an excellent level of commitment, follow up, and communication.
• Complete work promptly with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
• Follow all ESHQ policies and procedures to ensure and maintain a safe working environment.
Education – High School degree plus 3-5 years related experience required
Licenses & Certifications – Valid Colorado driver’s license
Security – Must be able to obtain NREL site security access
