Overview

Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is hiring for a Operations Support Specialist in Richland, WA.

 

This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).

 

This position will be located at the Navarro-ATL business office in building 2425 Stevens Center Place, Richland, WA.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

This position will support the Navarro-ATL Contractor Assurance department through general programmatic support in the areas of issues management and assessment (iCAS), performance metrics, and requirements management.

  • Provide general programmatic support to the Contractor Assurance team in various areas such as issues management and assessments in the Integrated Contractor Assurance System (iCAS), data review, performance metrics, etc.
  • Assist and serve as back-up to the primary administrator of iCAS by supporting all phases of iCAS. Duties to include: evaluation/screening of issues, monitoring and tracking of corrective actions, assisting actionees and Responsible Managers in developing and closing corrective actions, and performing trend analysis.
  • Participate in and support event investigations and cause analysis for events and incidents.
  • Provide support to the Navarro-ATL assessment program.
  • Provide support on the development and implementation of internal performance metrics, charts, and reports.
  • Provide support to the requirements management program for the implementation of the electronic requirements management system.
  • Track identification and flow down of Navarro-ATL contract requirements into implementing organizational programs and procedures to establish traceability of requirements and to report on gaps in implementation.
  • Interface with Navarro-ATL management and requirement Technical Owners to provide guidance on the implementation of the Requirements Management process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in related field and 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience working with an electronic issues management program, such as DevonWay iCAS.
  • Previous experience working with electronic requirements management tools and techniques, such as IBM DOORS or other relational database tools.
  • Previous experience working with DOE or other government entities.

Compensation

Grade 14: $77,969 - $91,975

Grade 16: $88,200 - $111,100

 

The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience.
